Mighty Avengers Disappointing 2nd Place
There are a lot of things we can blame for our disappointing 2nd place finish but participation is the key. We literally lost holding two nodes into the second day by a single win. Yes, just one more player on the 360 team or One team and we would have been in 1st place going into the second day. Instead we went into the second day holding zero nodes and a 100 point deficit. We managed to maintain second place with a fraction of the players from the first day. All in all it was a very frustrating and disappointing engagement. We could have come out with a great lead on the freshly reset leader boards but we just couldn't get the players on-line. There will be some rule adjustments so stay tuned!

I'm going to break from my normal tradition here. Here I would normally not take credit but in this event I'm going to. MA xDEFECTIVEx and myself held this one together for the most part. Without us at the helm we would have placed 3rd in this battle. I am exceptionally pleased with Killer Inst1ncz and Yankees6pax! These guys did a great job on the One and had some critical wins to help capture some nodes. I see great things in their future! Keep an eye on the forums for roster changes, promotions and rule changes.
Mighty Avengers Smash the Competition - Dominate 1st Place
Avengers 360 squad started off hot on the first night taking a quick lead. The One squad was plagued with connection issues but powered through. Avengers managed to lock down 1st place without letting any nodes fall to another team. The second night was a bit tougher on the 360 squad but the One team was able to pick up the slack and ensure a victory for us all! All in all it was a great battle and we dominated it! It was great having two squads going at once and really made a huge difference in capturing nodes. Keep up the great work!

Special thanks to all who participated! It was very difficult to identify a top performer this time because so many members contributed! DemonNarwhal and MA Falcon, you guys are always beasts! MA Falcon hung in there the second night despite being ill. Ashekinz stuck in there despite connection issues and frustrations. All the Lt Commanders kicked butt as well! From looking over stats, participation and just plain contagious laugh... the top performer goes to MA Ultron (also the most improved)! GREAT JOB!! Thank you to all who participated!

Mighty Avengers Take 2nd Place
Avengers take a disappointing 2nd place in their 1st Diamond Division outing. Unfortunately participation was not at the level projected and it cost us 1st place. Those who fully participated both days kicked some serious butt! This was a learning experience for all involved and some new rules have been implemented.

Mighty Avengers Come From Behind - Take 1st Place
Avengers started off hot on the first night taking a quick lead and then the first loss hit us and it was a wall we couldn't break. We fought between 2nd and 3rd the rest of the night. Round two, we came in on fire and went supernova! Only losing 2 or 3 matches all night long, we quickly took first and held it! We dominate when we run full teams and it was good to have support of all who opted in. Keep up the great work!

Mighty Avengers Win Again!!
Avengers have now gone 4 for 4 and are clearly ready for Diamond Division! The war started out quickly with the map being split between us and Scrum Gaming. We managed to hold first place from start to finish despite several clans attempts to take our teritories. The Mighty Avengers can't be stopped!
